In 2025, a total of 25,56,992 students took the Class 10 (High School) examinations, out of which 90.11% successfully passed. The top rank was achieved by Yash Pratap Singh from Jalaun, who scored 97.83%. The second position was shared by two students: Anshi from Etawah and Abhishek Kumar Yadav from Barabanki, both securing 97.67%.
Looking at previous years, the pass percentage was 89.55% in 2024 and 89.78% in 2023. In 2022, it stood at 88.18%, while in 2021 it rose significantly to 99.53%. Earlier, the results showed a pass rate of 83.31% in 2020 and 80.07% in 2019.
Marking Scheme (General Structure)
Most subjects are divided into two parts:
a) Theory Exam
